Here at FWPhys, I would like to celebrate late Dr Carl Sagan’s 85th birthday.
Recently, I am revisiting a few books he wrote. And I do so not only because the beautiful ways he put words together to address the clouds of mars, the solar sail, the critical thinking process etc, but also the life philosophy his work embodies. It accompanied me from early childhood, and throughout my first years in physics.
In the enveloping silence of the unknown, humble as we are, working together we can learn more about the universe.
