This is not quite an Aperiodical, but I make a note ahead of — both scheduled and now, open to, surprising — changes.
Over the past while (at the same time as actual papers and ideas being completed, submitted, and circulated), the website is predominantly shaped by the baseline music and photography posts. It is not unnoticed by myself, obviously.

October 2026 will see me enter my third year as a scientist in Europe, three in this life or the first three of many, I cannot tell and prefer not to guess. What I do know is all the talks and ideas about transition need now to materialize. Systems developed in an isolated bud will now see sunlight and / or touch the ground. Hopefully building a transient — strength is permanence for a limited time — and sustainable being.
Whatever state of being awaits out of the other end, it will be someone very like us but different. Is this an academic plural We I am using or does it genuinely represent a pivot, to answer that I need more luck than finding the next institutional affiliation in this changing world.
Here I mark that I enter the job market, institutional in bursts first and R&D on a rolling basis. Ad astra.
